Etera are creatures of various physical attributes which are part of the Greater Races. A creature is determined to be of the Etera Race if they can utilize the powers of Spectra. Most Etera are immune to diseases and illness that plague any of the Lesser Races and thus can live very long lifespans. Some Etera are able to bend Spectra into life-force, theoretically allowing them to live forever as long as they have a constant supply of Spectra.
It is believed that Etera were created by the Specters.
